AgentCheck Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of AgentCheck (“AgentCheck”, “we”, “us”), a Shopify app operated by Wolfram Hedrich. By installing or using AgentCheck, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t install or use the app.
1. What AgentCheck does
AgentCheck runs a simulated AI shopper against your store on a schedule you choose and reports, in plain English, where an AI shopper struggled to find, evaluate, or buy your products, and how to fix it. It reads your product catalog and basic store settings (such as the countries you ship to). It never creates, edits, or deletes your products. To test the buying flow it creates temporary carts on your storefront, which contain no customer details and are never turned into orders; it never places a real order or submits payment.
2. Estimates, not guarantees
AgentCheck’s findings, severity ratings, and the “value at risk” dollar figure are directional estimates based on your catalog data and each audit run. They are not a promise or guarantee of AI-search visibility, ranking, traffic, conversions, or sales. AI shopping platforms (such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity) are operated by third parties and change independently of us; we don’t control them and can’t guarantee how any of them will treat your store. You’re responsible for deciding whether and how to act on AgentCheck’s recommendations.
3. Plans, billing, and usage limits
Paid plans are billed through Shopify. Each plan includes limits — how often audits run, how many products each audit covers, and the underlying compute the service allocates to you. You agree not to exceed, circumvent, or attempt to circumvent those limits, including by:
- automating, scripting, or otherwise driving audits beyond your plan’s intended use;
- uninstalling and reinstalling, or creating multiple installs, to reset free-plan allowances;
- attempting to trigger runs, requests, or processing beyond what your plan provides; or
- using the app in any way designed to run up excessive usage, tokens, or compute cost.
We enforce usage limits in the service, and we may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate access that we reasonably believe is abusing the service or attempting to exceed its limits.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse AgentCheck: no reverse-engineering, probing, or interfering with the service; no using it to attack, overload, or audit stores you don’t own or aren’t authorized to test; and no use that violates applicable law or Shopify’s terms.
5. Warranty disclaimer
AgentCheck is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its findings are complete or accurate for every store.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AgentCheck and Wolfram Hedrich will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, revenue, data, or business, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the app — even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us for the app in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim.
7. Changes and termination
We may update the app and these Terms as the service evolves; material changes are reflected by the “Last updated” date above, and your continued use means you accept them. You can stop using AgentCheck at any time by uninstalling it, which also triggers deletion of your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end access for a breach of these Terms.
8. Other terms
Your use of Shopify and its APIs is also governed by Shopify’s own terms. Any data handling is described in our Privacy Policy. These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
